Gruene Dance Hall B W - Gruene Hall in black and white, This area outside of New Braunfels is an old German community by Ernest Gruene which is also the towns name, oh it is pronounced "Green". This is the oldest dance hall in Texas built somewhere in the late 1878 as a social gathering place and a saloon for the cotton farmers in the area of New Braunfels they name it Gruene Tx. Gruene Hall is still in business today with a saloon and dance hall along the Guadalupe river in New Braunfels. The water tower stands behind the dance hall in this image on a nice cloudy day. We like the contrast of the black and white in this image. Also available in color.
